The Rotary Club of Ocean City – Upper Township is participating in this year’s Ocean City Walk to End Alzheimer’s on Saturday, Oct. 25th.

According to estimates published by the Alzheimer's Association in January 2024, approximately 2,700 people aged 65 and older in Cape May County were living with Alzheimer's. These are estimates based on data collected prior to 2024, Alzheimer's disease was the sixth leading cause of death among U.S. and New Jersey residents in 2023.
Statistics for Cape May County for 2021 -2023 …. Deaths were 42 per 100,000 population, and Cape May County was rated at the highest level for any county in New Jersey.
