Over 3000 Rotarians, family & friends helped our local food banks restock their shelves and to END POLIO NOW by simply attending the Phillies game on 18 August

Rotary's Annual STRIKE OUT HUNGER with the Phillies was a huge success. Our club sold 138 tickets (A new record!) and over 40 rode our charter bus to the game. Non-perishable food items were collected for local food banks. The Phillies also generously donated $8 of each ticket to Rotary Foundation. The 138 tickets our club sold helped to raise over $1,100 for our Rotary Foundation - helping to eradicate polio from planet earth. THANK YOU to all who participated. See you next year! BTW, the Phillies defeated the Giants 7-2 in a very entertaining ballgame in which Jimmy Rollins (almost) hit for the cycle.... "Congratulations... I knew the record would stand until it was broken." - Yogi Berra
