Five ears ago, Dana Eislen created the End to End Bike Tour of Ocean City when she was in Ocean City High School.

Now, the event is a staple of the community celebrating its 5th year.

To start off the event, crowd motivator Stephan Clank rode in front and the Ocean City Fire Department. Mayor Jay Gillian, along with his wife and son, rode through town as well.

The cost was $10 to ride which included refreshments and a T-shirt. Sponsors were Johnson's Popcorn, Shriver's, Godfrey Funeral Home, Thomas Heist Insurance, the Rotary Club and the City of Ocean City.

Club adviser Phyllis Turner, President Jayne Snyder and Vice President Katee Blizzard all agreed that the event had a great turn out with 125 participants registered.

The proceeds going to the animal shelter and in previous years the Interact Club has supported various facilities.
